Yes, my life is in transition. I am now getting used to life as a widow. What will this bring? Time will tell.

Yummy BBQ

Or, what's left of the yummy BBQ. This is my husband's empty plate. Mine looked almost that empty. Yum!

This is the 42nd year of the Annual BBQ & Bazaar at the Belin Methodist Church here in "old" Murrells Inlet. This lovely church right is on the inlet and surrounded by huge live oaks and decorated with Spanish moss.

The event was held in the rec hall across from the church. There was a steady stream of people arriving.

Lot's of people were already inside enjoying the delicious food. We were served buffet style. And, we had a charming boy scout to show us to our table. They were also doing clean up.

There were gifts to buy.

There was entertainment.

A bake sale. I bought brownies, pumpkin nut muffins and candy with pecan and chocolate on a pretzel.

Live oaks and Pyracantha berries.
