A Card Making and Stamping Paradise
"Oh Say Can You See"
all of the fun we are going to have this weekend.
having this fabulous Worldwide Blog Hop
beginning at 9 a.m. central time. If you came from
you are on the right track.
After my blog your next stop is Tammy at
Or, you can start at the beginning at
My cute patriotic cat is a digi stamp from Squigglefly.
One of the joys of stamping is that you can let your imagination
run free. I wanted to use red, white and blue, so, my cat image got
colored red. My tabby is named Red but he is more orange than red.
I did the coloring with Bic Mark It permenent markers. The stars
are punched with my tiny star punch and glittered. The background paper
has faint stars
with a bit of glitter on them.
And, now my news....
I've recently started on an exciting journey in my
stamping life. I'm the new Group Leader at
I hope to build the group into a creative and active
place. We will have tips, techniques, new ideas,
and some oldie but goodie ideas, swaps, challenges, contests,
showcases and more.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun.
Remember, a piece of paper eventually becomes a scrap.
Let's explore creative ways to use our scraps.
See you there.
At Use Your Scraps group I've just posted our
first challenge "Make a Fan from Scraps". This is
my fan made from designer paper scraps.
My fan is pretty plain but you should see the one that
Patricia made. It is very elegant. It is posted
for everyone to see on the group page. Also there
is a link to the pattern and instructions for the making
of a fan. Use Your Scraps, make a fan, post it on
the group site to share with us.
