Yes, my life is in transition. I am now getting used to life as a widow. What will this bring? Time will tell.

I Think It's Weds

I am so confused on my days. I've just
returned from a quick trip to Montana to see my
mom and brother. I met my daughter in Denver and
we finished the trip from there together.
She came from LA and I came in from Myrtle Beach, SC.
Everyone was doing fine but the dog, Rusty. He had
to make a trip to the vets because
he was really sick. But, the vet gave him some
antibiotics and he was getting better right before our eyes.

I almost forgot to post our
which began the new
Font Challenge
on Tuesday.
Come join us. We'd love to see your scrapbook page.

Here is my page. It is also for
Stamps
I've used the 'Go Team' Digital Stamp by

I haven't the foggiest idea where I got this background. But, I thought
it was perfect for the Fonts Challenge. The fonts that I used are
Fun & Funky Fonts by Floppy Latte.

Cabin in the Woods

I love this digital stamp by

I certainly don't miss snowy winters. I am now
a very happy Southern Belle.

My base card is textured Copper metallic and I layered
with a beautiful green print paper.
The blue circle has been dry embossed with my Cuttlebug.
The dots make it hard to see the white speckles in the paper.
Could that be snow? I think so.
I colored with my Copics, cut the image out and pop dotted
it in place. The snow on the trees is white dimensional paint sprinkled
with glitter. I used cotton for the smoke and snow on the ground.
The light is on in the window....come cozy up to the fire
with me and have a nice glass of wine.

Tomorrow is a big day for me and the I Did It Creations Challenge Blog.
Wednesday is the first day of our expanded blog. We will have
DT cards for our current challenge, showcases, interesting places
to visit, tutorials, reviews, and anything else that might
be interesting to you. So come check it out tomorrow,
right here.

The Crafty Pad - Embossing
Fairy Fun Friday - Embossing

The Falling Leaves Drift By My Window

The leaves are sure pretty but we have so many. Soon it will be
hours out in the yard with the rake. I do use them for mulch so that's
a good thing.
This card is made using 'Autumn Leaves' digi stamp by Stamping Dragon
printed on vellum. For my background I used the boards from one of
the lovely 'Weathered' papers by Toucan Scraps.
I distressed the sentiment and the boards with Antique Linen Distress Ink,
Coco Brown and Pumpkin. The base card uses a paper from my stash.
The window frame is from my collection of clip art. I colored the
leaves on the back side of the vellum using my Copics.

Are your leaves falling yet?

I made this for several challenges

I hope will visit all of these fun challenges.

While you are out there on the web check out our newest scrapbook challenge
Our theme is a fun one

Playing With Some Digi Papers

I love these digital papers by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More.
All of the colors are so deep and rich. And, appropriately called
Forever Fall. Even here in the South we are feeling the
first hints of fall. I think it is my very favorite season.
Let's see I have use 4 different papers from the pack for my
layers. Added the ribbon, buttons, sentiment and the tag, all digital.
The black fringe down the side is labeled leaves. Do you see a
any leaves there? I sure don't. We visited the Day Lily
Farm in Gorgetown, SC, earlier this year and this
is one of the pic that I took. Acres and acres of beautiful
Day Lilies all in bloom, what a sight to see.

Having a Blast

These are brand new papers by
Birthday Blast
And I really had a blast making this card.
It was so quick and easy.
I just love digital papers and elements.
I chose 2 papers from the pack and layered them.
I like that the blue/purple paper has a hint of the red in it.
I found this already colored image of the balloons
and added the digital ribbon where the strings all come
together. Before adding my sentiment I added
shadows to the bunch of balloons and ribbon.
And for good measure my sentiment has a shadow also.

Flower in Purple

I made this card for my friend Stef's
She wanted us to use our Freebies and add lots
of glitter and sparkle.
I used Stef's beautiful flower image and
her background paper, both free and you can
find them here. Stef also has a Glitterbabe Shop where
you will find even more of her wonderful digi stamps.

The purple panel
and flower are both outlined with purple glitter. These have
been put on a base card of white glitter paper. I used a gem
for the flower center. There is lots of sparkle on this card but it just
just doesn't show up well here.

This card is also for the following challenges
Say It With Flowers
Jewelled
Summer Inspiration
Flower Power
Paper Flowers

My daughter and her husband just returned from a long weekend to
Kings Canyon in California. She sent me a short email to let me know they were
home safe and sound and had a wonderful time. She also told
me they saw 3 bears. I'll have bear pictures to share with soon.

My Mittens

This is a card that I made using the new
'My Mittens' digi stamp from Robyn's Fetish
Available now until Sept 30th for just $.99.
Use Coupon Code COLD

2 more new digi stamps available now at the shop.

To make my card, I made 3 kittens using a png image. This is easy to do on your
computer. In what ever image program you are using just
duplicate as many times as you need. Resize and arrange.
All of the papers that I used are from my stash. The flower print
I've had for ages and, woe is me, it's almost gone. I used a border
punch on the scrap of designer paper. I embellished with ribbon and buttons.
The coloring is done with Copics.

This card works for the following challenges:

Finders Keepers
Little Girl Theme
Let's Get Digital
Old Meets New
Old dp, new digi
Anything Goes
Girlie or Color Scheme
I chose Girlie
