Yes, my life is in transition. I am now getting used to life as a widow. What will this bring? Time will tell.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.   This is the time
that my family all gathered at my mom's for a wonderful day.   As we all grew older
and our lives took us in all different directions our Thanksgiving get together
now lives in our memories.   But, what a wonderful memory.

Cornucopia -
from Latin cornu copiae horn of plenty

My Cornucopia is filled with many thanks and good wishes for all.

Many of the challenges that I found have a Thanks, Thankful or Thanksgiving
theme.   Here are a few that I found.

Have you ever wondered where the name "Black Friday" came about.

Black Friday falls on the day after Thanksgiving and has earned the reputation of being the busiest shopping day of the year. The name was adopted from an accounting term - red ink denotes a negative profit margin, where as "in the black" denotes a positive profit margin. Many retailers make or break their sales goals between Thanksgiving and Christmas, with the season kicking off on the Friday after Thanksgiving, hence the name "Black Friday."

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Black Friday.
Don't forget Cyber Monday for all of those sales on the internet.
